We started our trip with the intention of getting out West as quickly as possible, driving through the night through Minnesota and North Dakota, stopping for our first fun thing at Makoshika State Park in northeast Montana to check out their disc golf course. Makoshika features gorgeous badlands and the disc golf course plays through, over, and around them.

We continued our journey, spending one more night on the road before driving into the mountains during a beautiful sunny morning. Our first task is to find our camping spot. With our new camper, we have a new option for our adventures: dispersed camping.
