I made it to D.C.! There was a bit of a snafu with the airport pickup. It really helps if you are both at the same airport. :)

Today, Jake was learning good stuff at the conference. You can ask him all about blockchain next time you see him. I was seeing the sights on foot and spent some time at the U. S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. People usually spend 2-3 hours there but there is up to 12 hours of material to see. It has a very heavy experience but well worth the time if you are ever in D.C.

After that, I saw some of the same sights Jake did yesterday, including the Library of Congress, the Capitol, and the Castle.

Jake met me at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden fountain after he was done at the conference. We walked along the Mall to the Vietnam and Lincoln Memorials, then turned around and passed the White House on our way to Ben's Chili Bowl for dinner.
