Today was full of driving. We decided to skip out of D.C. a little early and cram what was going to be two days of driving into one. Things we learned along the way:
Connecticut has the WORST rest stops. Should have bought an EZPass (Tiff, you told us. Should have listened.) New Jersey has got it going on with the collectible spoons. The rest of the East Coast not so much. NO ONE is driving their camper between D.C., New York, or Boston. Turn signals are apparently OPTIONAL.The one thing we did take a picture of is going over the George Washington Bridge from New Jersey to New York. It is a two level bridge.

Bonus we did learn a sixth thing while stuck at a rest stop in Connecticut. The world's best chocolate ice cream is made in Maine at Gifford's World Famous Ice Cream and we will be driving past them on our way to Montreal. They are five time winners at the World Dairy Expo in Madison. So you can look forward to our ice cream report in a few days. :)
