Well we got really lucky with the weather on Tuesday. Wednesday we woke up to rain with no end in sight. So we headed into town to enjoy some breakfast at one of the local diners.

After breakfast we decided to make the best of it and head out into the rain for a hike. We hiked around Jordan Pond and up North and South Bubble. It was a bit of an adventure hiking. Most of the main trail around the pond was gravel but the side trails we took up North and South Bubble were not as well marked and required a little more scrambling up rocks. By the time started back down North Bubble though the rain was down to more of a mist.

We made it back just in time for our reservation at the Jordon House. Where we warmed up with some popovers and tea.

From there we went back and spent some time at camp. We got a hot shower, $2 for 4 minutes! And then we headed back into town for dinner and ice cream. Because what is a vacation day without some ice cream. :)
